According to an article published the March 2012 issue of Forbes magazine, dental assisting ranked #1 as the top 15 jobs for young people in the current market. In the article, it is noted that dental assisting requires only moderate-term, on-the -job training. Dental assisting is a great job….or should I say career. The article goes on to say that 17.6% of dental assistants are younger than 25 years of age, its job rate is expected to grow 37.5%, and it boasts 16,000 openings each year.
